Local Search Engine Optimisation
Your SEO Service costs so much less than others - What is the catch?
Simply put, there isn't one. We are so confident in our ability to put your business onto Page 1 of Google, we are prepared to back it up with the bold statement - you don't pay a penny until you are onto Page 1.
How does Saracens SEO (Organic search results) compare with Pay Per Click (PPC) sponsored listings?
PPC is the equivalent of a paid advert in a magazine - if you bid high enough, you will feature, but it will cost you everytime someone clicks on your advert - there is no guarantee that a person who clicks on your advert will actually use your service, therefore this method of online advertising can work out extremely expensive. PPC works on what is known as an "exact match" - e.g if a person types in "Ipswich Solicitors", they will not get returns for Ipswich Conveyancing, Ipswich Legal, Ipswich Lawyers etc. Organic Search results overcome this restriction by applying common sense to the search results. For example, Saracens House Business Centre (shown on our clients page) is optimised for 10 keywords / key phrases. In the last 30 days, visitors found the website using over 200 different keywords and key phrases using natural organic search. This resulted in FREE visitors from 190 key phrases and keywords.
Does this mean that Natural Organic Search Results are more cost effective than PPC?
In a word, Yes!
How do companies that run a fixed price PPC campaign work?
Many companies offer to put your business on sponsored listings (PPC) for a monthly retainer - usually costing between £250 - £750 per month. You will pay this amount irrespective of how many clicks or visitors you get and because the contract will be based on specific keywords, the actual cost per visitor will be very high. You will also normally only get the exact match keywords or keyphrases you have discussed - so in our experience, you will receive visitors from up to 25 times more keywords using organic search.
It is also worth noting that anyone can get there - try searching for your industry and your town and you can be fairly certain that a lot of the paid adverts will be national companies mascarading as local, adding to the distrust that is already growing for PPC advertising.
So how will your service benefit my business?
We offer a personal service based on our 25 years experience of doing business in the local area and our record of success getting local businesses onto Page 1 Google.
So are you saying that you will work for free until you achieve results?
Yes
How long will it take to get my business URL onto Google Page 1?
There is nothing definitive about Search Engine Optimisation because Google and many other search engines change their algorhythms regularly, but you can be sure that we will be as keen as you are to succeed in the shortest possible time, because we are paid on results.
If I decide to proceed, how long is the contract?
The contract runs for a minimum period of 3 months.
What do you mean by Keywords or Key Phrases?
These are chosen by you, and they are the terms you want to be found for. For example, if you are an electrician working in Ipswich and surrounding areas, you may want "Ipswich Electrician", "Domestic rewiring in Suffolk" or any other choices you might have. We are happy to help you select your keywords but ultimately the choice is yours.
How many Keywords / Key Phrases should I choose?
We ask that you pick at least 3 different phrases and you can add more at any time - however it takes time to optimise keywords on your website and therefore it is best if you make changes once or twice a year.
What happens if my URL gets onto Page 1, then disappears later on?
We review your site performance regularly, but we base our billing cycle on the 1st working day of the month. If your website is not on Page 1 of Google on the 1st working day of the month, you dont have to pay for that key phrase, even if it appears on the 2nd working day of the month.
How do I pay for the service?
We can take payment via credit or debit card, bank transfer or even Paypal. We ask for a fully refundable deposit based upon all of your key phrases appearing on Page 1 for one month. We will then invoice you on the 1st of the month based upon our performance and take payment from your deposit - you then have 30 days to pay the invoice.
Are you going to work for my competitors?
We work on a first come first serve basis and will not take more than 3 businesses from one specific profession. There are only 10 places on Google Page 1, so we do not want to be competing with ourselves, although it may be that one accountant wants us to work on promoting their Bookkeeping and Payroll, whilst another is focussed upon Inheritance and Tax advice.
What if I do not already have a website?
All businesses can benefit from a website. In fact, websites have taken over from the traditional telephone book. There are many types of websites, from simple 2 or 3 pages that simply lists your business and its location through to fully specified websites that have been fully optimised and act as a 24/7 and 365 days a year sales tool. We can advise you on the type of website that would be most appropriate for your business - at this point you can elect to have your website designed by a developer of your choice. Alternatively, we can refer you to web developers that we know and trust, but the decision on who to use will be yours.
What makes you so successful?
As mentioned above, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) or Search Engine Marketing is not an exact science and Search Engines alter their algorythms regularly. We are working on websites every day and our experience help us to make the right choices for optimising your business website.
